From the statistical analysis of the stations of the Meteorological Services of Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela (591 for temperature and 1392 for precipitation), it is estimated that during the period July - September 2020 there are greater probabilities of rain above normal in most of Venezuela, as well as in much of the northern region of Colombia; in the north and northeast of Ecuador; in some stations in the departments of Cochabamba and Sucre in Bolivia and in the Alto Palena region and in the northern sector of Aysén in Chile. Increased chances of near-normal rain in part of the Los Llanos region and southern Orinoco region in Venezuela and throughout the Andean region of Peru; in much of Bolivia; in the extreme south of Paraguay and in the Coquimbo region, the Los Lagos region, southern Aysén and Magallanes in Chile. Greater chances of rain below normal are expected in the east of the country, in part of the Amazon and small coastal areas of Venezuela; in the central and southern Andean region of Colombia, in the central Andean region of Ecuador, in the southern Andean region of Peru, in much of Paraguay and in the Valparaíso region, Metropolitan region and O'Higgins region in Chile .
